- Description
- At the Liddle family cottage in Lynch Park, Niagara Falls, a moment of quiet familial pride is captured. Seated with a steady, gentle presence is the matriarch, Augusta Lodwig Stunick (c. 1853–1927), surrounded by her daughters and kin: Anna Louise Zdunek (c. 1885–1959), Clarice "Clara" Auguste Zdunek (1894–1968), and Minnie Stunick. While dated 1920 in the photo's marginalia, the relaxed silhouettes and patterned dresses suggest the mid-1920s, a period of transition between the old world Augusta knew and the modern era her daughters embraced.

Liz Casler Loomans:
My scan of original photo in physical archive.
I don't think 1920 can be right, based on Minnie's appearance alone
